Mama's Home!

Remember the asparagus and sheep's cheese? The sweet potatoes? Here's a plate of it along with some boneless, skinless chicken tenders and a glass of sweet iced tea. I took this photo of my Tuesday evening supper.

Mama's home! She's in her recliner, trying to keep up with the teens on Jeopardy and eagerly awaiting Wheel of Fortune. We've eaten supper, I've washed the dishes, and we're going to watch Trackside on the Speed Channel after Mama's two favorite shows.

We had leftovers for supper. I am extremely proud to report that Mama ate almost all of her asparagus, saying, "It's good, but it's green. You know me and green." She ate one chicken tender and about three quarters of a cup of sweet potato. Then she said, "I'm good and full!"

Tomorrow I'll give you the latest on Duncan. The vet said today that he's continuing to improve and that I surely can come to get him tomorrow. Yippee!

Thanks again, everyone!

Mama and Duncan sound good to me. The meal looks good to me too except I like my chicken tenders a little bit browner. LOL

Welcome home, Mama. Oh this plate of food looks delicious. Heaven! I've just caught up with Duncan's story and am so glad he's improving and he'll be home tomorrow. What a worrying time you've had with your various loved ones sick.

Glad Mama is feeling better and eating better. I do not see how you have time for blogging being a nurse to Mama and a nurse to Duncan. Hope they are both 100% real soon. God bless.

WONDERFUL that Mama is home! And eating to fullmess. And continuing to perk along, as is her way.

She has such a wonderful attitude, she should be written up! As a guide and inspiration to people who are older, and have been hit-in-the-teeth by health issues. Never give up, that's Mama's motto. I love it. And I love her.

And I so hope that Duncan can join the party. Maybe, just maybe, his issues have had a lot to do with Mama being missing. So maybe, he will progress forward too, now. I so hope so.

And take many loads off of your shoulders. Remember... you still need TLC, self given. Remember. :-)

And I can keep saying this, because you said you would not go ballistic {giggles} if I kept saying such. But even tho you are sweet about it, I'll try to temper my advice. Honest I will!!! :-)

Please give Mama a gently hug, from me.
