Time goes by.

Revisiting another favorite photo of mine, taken on July 9, 2004, when my little Mama and I first visited my sons here in Portland, Leland on the left, Lamont on the right. They had to get up very early that day--Leland to head for work, Lamont to meet Mama and me for breakfast before getting us to the airport for our flight home. These two are my rocks, their father's sons, one hundred percent.

See, here he is, from the mid-1960s. I didn't know him then. He was in the US Air Force.

And there he is in the middle, December, 1978, between Ronnie on the left and Lyndall on the right. We're about to begin the convoy from Kansas City, Kansas, to Jackson, Mississippi.

Thanks for indulging me. LeRoy died 32 years ago yesterday, so I decided to look through these photos again. I am blessed.

Is there such a thing as Throw-Back Thursday on the City Daily Photo site? If so, you're only a few hours early for this look back in time. :)

Two very handsome young sons. Their Father also sounds like he was a wonderful man. So sorry you lost him so early. But thank goodness you have your boys. Hang in there.

My shingles are gone, but now I'm having lots of pain, burning and aching which I guess is all part of having shingles.

I did receive my note from you and I will try to send some kind of message.

We're still processing my Mother's Estate and Wrongful Death suit. I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like if she had a large Estate. Bless her heart, she had very little, except all the love of her children and grandchildren. It will be a year ago this coming May 29th. that she died from the car accident injuries.

Sleep well tonight, have pleasant dreams. Patty
