April 9, 2010, I got off the bus on the way home, somewhere in downtown, so that I could photograph these tulips. Flowers on display all around downtown Portland always make me happy. Mama loved to see them, too.
We talked about the beautiful hanging baskets, too. I took this photo July 11, 2009, on SW 9th at SW Morrison.

Ah tulips. . .a sure sign of spring yet it will awhile before they appear outside here in MN!! The only ones I see are in flower shops or grocery stores. Darn!!

I have to start looking at some of the tulip beds here, see if there's anything starting to show. I doubt it, but who knows?
