Time for Memories

112607_tiffany_door_620x427

I fell hard for that entrance, that Atlas sort of guy holding the clock, and that clock itself. So romantic. For a few moments I stood there, memories of my husband filling my mind, then I set off for the bus stop.

I like that Atlas guy too. It looks like he's checking the clock out to find out when's quitting time.

Sure looks great. That is what my eye immediately went to - the statue! Very elegant.

Forgive me, I'm sure you meant that you've remembered going to Tiffany's with your husband...but after you just talked about Atlas then the memories. I thought surely, he was your Atlas. :)

Interesting looking building. That guy looks like he has just stole something and is running away!

What a husband you had! I could stand and look for hours and I'd not see my husband in that form but the guy walking by might remind me of mine.

They just opened a Tiffany's in Nashville last year. Supposedly, it is the best grossing store for a city of this size. Not bad, I guess.

I like the Atlas/clock, too. . . .

Interesting... clever framing of the shot!

Let me say this about my husband LeRoy--he wasn't as big a guy as that Atlas, but oh, what a shape he had! I think it was all of the construction work he did that made his so strong. And he was romantic to boot, even if we never even saw a Tiffany's store in person. He could cook, too, just like his sons. Falling in love with that man remains one of the biggest blessings of my life.
