On Oct. 14 these red trees grabbed hold of me and I had to pull the Buick off Barbur Blvd. into a Fred Meyer parking lot, and take this photo. Last night when I took a better look at it, I got plumb tickled. Look at the car. Look at the man's shirt. Look at the trees. I love it.
For fun and foliage-filled walk around our block in Portland's Northwest Hills, go to my other blog,

Hahahaha!!! And you tell me that I'm something else?! :D
That boulevard is a dream! So many beautiful red trees, all lined up for how many blocks?
Great shade. The car and man make the picture though. LOL.
Well, you did it again girl! I do believe Portland is having the best autumn colors. You sure make me want to visit there.
Hey, I like the yellow fire hydrant also. I can't figure out why some of our hydrants are yellow and some red but they do add color to the landscape.
Dot, thanks for pointing out the yellow fire hydrant. In my excitement over the reds, I completely missed it. Talk about tunnel vision!
That is awesome! It is funny how after downloading photos, I sometimes find a masterpiece from something that I might have thrown away.
You did it again!
Wow wee! I have NEVER seen red like that. What are they?
Great photo. If theme day was "red" this would have been a perfect photo for it.
I so want to kid you about these matching colors, which keep popping up in front of your camera. I wanted to. But I was too afraid, that my kidding would not be clear. And I certainly don't want to offend you.
But it's ok if I giggle, yes? Because I am getting such a kick out of how this keeps happening with you. ,-)

Wow, this is so beautiful. And to catch the man's shirt and the car right there at the same time. You did good.

You must have a third eye working on spotting all those great elements! ;)
Haha!! that is great, couldn't be more perfect! :)
Oh wow! The red leaves are amazing!! They look like cartoons because of the intensity of the reds.
