Right about now good-sized raindrops begin to fall. She moves her right arm in advance of opening her umbrella. She scrunches her eyes shut. I'm across the street, thinking, "Rain, rain, go away!" I am lucky to be standing beneath a narrow strip of roof attached to the Fred Meyer's outer wall.

Great slice-of-life! I guess living in Portland, one must always be prepared for rain to fall...here, in the summer, we often (usually) get rainstorms thundering through but they don't last. Scary, though!

What an excellent photo. I love the touches of color.

This one is interesting, Lynette. Mixing the B+W with color. Your photofinishing technique is FAR beyond mine.

I love the B+W mix with color and especially the choice of the girl with the crazy red tights, so stylish and chic. Such a romantic photo!
