Sometimes I walk to this stop from the apartment and board the 17 here. On this particular, last Thursday, I decided to leave early, ride the bus to this stop, get off and walk about four blocks to the Byways Cafe to try their biscuits, without gravy.
I took this photo after a pretty good breakfast (the buttermilk pancakes remain my favorite), when I had walked back to the stop to catch the next 17. Hoping that it would translate well to black and white, I then took the photo below. I wanted you to see my black rolling bag and the colorful, flowered, plastic one that I use daily, to transport my sweet ice tea and the rest of my lunch to work. With its zipper closure at the top, it makes a great tote, although I usually let the rolling black bag do the toting.

Interesting picture.
My daughter and her little family have taken a weekend trip to the north Georgia mountains. She said there is an abandoned railroad track near the cabin they are staying at. She said she wanted to take a picture of my 4 year old grandson on the tracks pulling his luggage on wheels with maybe some of his clothes hanging out of the bag so it looks like he rushed and threw the clothing in. She said she wants to do it in black and white. I cannot wait to see that picture.
...but but but IT'S SACRILEGE TO HAVE BISCUITS WITHOUT GRAVY! (At least in "Louis's" native Texas...)
"Louis" thanks you for visiting San Francisco Bay Daily Photo
What a great picture! I wish I could take public transportation to work...but it is just not available in the suburb I live unless I go to downtown Chicago and that is not where I work!
