Another U for you

Useless Umbrella
useless_umbrella

For you, in sun-bleached color, evidence of the reason I don't carry an umbrella in Portland.

P. S. I'm posting early because Mama and I are out for celebratory fun. Watch for photos soon!

That looks like one of my umbrellas. I just can't get the hang of using them right.

Sometimes I think an umbrella is more trouble than it's worth.
I'm wondering what you and Mama are up to!

I am a little absent-minded with these type of things. Same thing with gloves. I have god knows how many pairs, never a complete one, and keep on loosing one or misplacing them. Last year, I bought an ugly cheap and bright yellow one. The strategy worked: it is so bright, I can't miss it. And it is so ugly nobody will 'mistakenly" take it.

I have a zillion umbrellas--always left behind in my car when I am blocks away and it starts raining. Love your ABC shots.

At first glance, in looking at your small umbrella photo in the portal.... this is the thought that came to mind for me "It looks like a gargoyle has fallen from the sky". Or a "bat" or pteradactile (sp). In zooming in, I saw it was an umbrella that had been blown inside out by strong wind, and tossed on the ground. I love umbrellas, when it's raining. They are like carrying a lightweight roof around.

LOL! Looks like one of my non-working umbrellas, which I had to throw away.

Have fun celebrating!
