Trinity’s Red Doors, Part II

Here’s Trinity’s east-most red door on NW Everett. To me, this lamppost, as well as the hanging light over both doors, accents the walls and the doors perfectly.

In order to hopefully find out more about red church doors, I’ve posted both photos on my other blog, Mama & Me from PDX, which I e-mail to friends and family in Portland and Jackson, plus it’s part of ORblogs.com. We’ll see what we can find out.

Thanks for the potatoes!

That put a smile on my face today.

Delightful. Lamppost, lantern, even the reflexion of the traffic light on the stone are perfect accents.

That big red door certainly brighten up the whole building. Makes church more fun. I love the lanterns. Very pretty. Oh and the ivy as well. Very British.

Sean, Mama and I are glad it did!

Fenix, thanks so much for pointing out the reflection of the traffic light--I'd missed that.

I thought the church looks British myself, but because I've only seen churches in London (British ones I mean), I wasn't sure. Thanks for sharing your opinion.

The walls are beautiful!

I agree, J. Andrew. Looking at them makes me wished I could have watched the walls going up, stone by stone. That makes me think I need to search for a cornerstone; surely there is one.
