The look of love

082108_mama_duncan_1
Tuesday evening I looked up from the computer when Mama said, "Look where Duncan has his head now." The camera sat right beside the computer, so I quickly got this first photograph as Mama talked to the little ol' man. I can't tell you how many times he has looked up at her like this over the years, his sweet little head resting on her arm. I guess he heard the camera because he looked at me, so I asked Mama to look at me and smile.

Even with the dimness of available light making them not so clear and crisp, I just love these two photos.

Animals, esp dogs, make wonderful companions, and that's reflected beautifully in both photos on the faces of both "people."

The look your mum is giving you is also a great look of love.
Say Hi to your mum, she reminded me of mine. I miss her.

Those are both beautiful and cherished shots! It's so obvious in those pictures how much your Mom and Duncan love each other!

Hi...first time visitor here. I've gone and visited your other blogs too and I love your photos. This one especially touched a chord with me because your Mama look about the age mine would be if she was still alive. She died at the age of 61, an age I'm not all that far from myself. Way, way too soon. Beautiful, Lynette. Please stop by and say hello if you get a chance. I'll be coming back again.
