Not much on this post--connectivity difficulties took all the energy I had left after a long, long day of work. For a while, I thought I might not even get it back and would miss a day. So glad that didn't happen. Off to walk Duncan and hit the hay.

So many outlets for firehoses. It must be for the highrises. I wonder why they stack 4 connectors in one post. You would think they want to spread them out.

I guess this is about as modern as fire hydrants get. I never saw anything like these before.

Nice post.

Interesting photo!! Looks like someone was hanging around smoking some.

I hate it when work and connectivity problems get in the way of my blogging!! Have a great Friday!!

I'm amazed by the different feeling the cropping creates.

Greetings from Nashville!
I wanted to let you know I stopped by and have been enjoying your photos!

Please excuse that I'm cutting and pasting this comment, but since my right arm (my writing arm!) is still in a sling, typing is pretty difficult, so I really haven't been able to make comments.

Have a great weekend!

I think it's possible to miss a day, when life dictates. But I know, we don't want to not follow the rules.

And that is a reason, I withdrew from CDPB. Some days, I just don't have a photo. And some days, the one or ones, I want to put up, don't really fit in the City Photo nitch.

So... I left. But I still visit friends. And I hope that when they have the time, they visit me.

But ONLY when they have the time. No blogging should be an extra job. At least, that's how I feel.

Hope you catch up with _rest_, this weekend, my Friend.

I like the contrasts in your cropped photo: vertical vs horizontal, round vs straight, dark vs light, monochrome vs RED -- very cool shot!
