Hot Dog! PBR Serendipity

tall_bike_600x749

My camera around my neck to make room in the tote bag for two half gallons of milk, I exited Fred Meyer on NW 20th and walked south, towards Burnside and the bus stop on the corner.

"Oh," I thought, "I'd better turn the camera on. Never know what I'll see."

I looked up as I got closer to the corner. "Like that!" Click. One chance to get the photo before he disappeared on the sidewalk.

"Yes!" I thought when I checked the view screen. "Got it!"

You did good. I never saw anything like this. And he won't get far. Look what he is hauling?

Me thinks that guy craves attention!

Well caught.

Yep, I noticed it Mr. Lincoln. When I cropped the photo, I saw the Pabst sign in the pizza joint--thus the serendipity.

Glad you and Eamon enjoyed the photo. Lots of bikes like this in Portland, even a club of women tall-bike-makers-and-riders.

Great shot Lynette. You know with a bike that tall, he can't reach the beer. When we were down there we noticed there are also quite a few cargo bikes running around town. Those are pretty neat.
PS: Glad you liked my old timey shot.

Nice capture. That is an unusual looking bike and unhealthy meal. The camera around the neck sure comes in handy.
