Oh, by the way, it was 106 degrees in Portland on Tuesday, one degree off the record. And Wednesday's predicted to be even hotter. We persevere!

that's just 1 or 2 degrees cooler than it was down here in Tucson on Tuesday. Normal here, but sure does sound hot for up there.
I think it was 105 here in Olympia today. Yeehaw!
