Signs, out and about in NE Portland, No. 3
One more sign seen from the TriMet bus, the windshield this time. I believe it's also vintage. Too bad the bus driver's aisle-view mirror sort of destroys the shape of the top section.

To me, this vintage stepside Dodge pickup looks short.
Click here for a trip to City Daily Photo, transporting you around the world every day.

A somewhat worn paint job still shines when wet with rain. What year is this Dodge pickup truck? I'm thinking somewhere in the 1960s, but that based on a feeling, not knowledge. Has it been chopped?

Black and white at The Red Light

Almost a year ago to the day, I took these photos at The Red Light Clothing Exchange. on SE Hawthorne Blvd.

Looks like an iffy seat to me, a jewelry display case.

Canby Cruise In Photos--Red Sweethearts for Your Valentine's Day
Bear with me, please. I've added two photos to my "Red Sweethearts for Valentine's Day" post--ones that slipped by somehow. The reason I'm posting these photos again is simple. I'm working on the rest of the Canby Cruise In photos for the rest of the week, and I just didn't want to leave out these two unique ones. I hope you enjoy all of them and my attempt at poetry, too. Thank you.
Last August I drove with a big grin,
Headed south to Canby and the Cruise In!
Vintage car buffs' delight
At all vehicles in sight!
When today I remembered I saw lots of red--
Yes--I virtually slapped my forehead!
When searching for something for you on Valentine's Day
I knew you'd love all the photos I've posted today!

Good-bye from Canby. See you tomorrow for "Seen on the Streets of Portland, #7."
