Drive-by Photography

floyds_coffee

Floyd’s Coffee Shop has a drive-up window. I took this photo from the Buick as I slowed down for the intersection, what I now call drive-by photography, a safe sort of drive-by shooting—as long as I pay attention to the traffic, which I can assure you, I do with diligence.

This is the first time I've heard of a drive-up window for a coffee shop although we have drive-up banking here. As for drive-by photography, I gave that up since my windows are dirty and I usually see interesting things on the freeway, but too dangerous to photograph.

That's a great photo for being taken on the move. I use to have a dog that went with me everywhere and I would reward her with a McD. But then she would look at the drive-up bank teller with a very puzzled expression. Luckily they were always equipped with Milk Bones!

A drive by coffee shop...

We got McDonalds but at $1.50 for small it doesn't cater to me much.

I like your style and your focus.

Greetings from Juneau,Alaska!
Drive-by-shooting is a must for me especially when I'm not feeling well (RA).
I'm beginning to wonder if drive-up coffee stops are a thing of the west coast. We have numerous ones here in Juneau. They serve some wonderful gourmet coffee drinks too.
It's amazing to still see so many green leaves on the trees. Great shot.

There seems an awful lot of drive by things in the world these days. I like stretching the legs and having a break!
