A break from MOPAR and the family and friends in PDX for some photos from Portland's Race for the Cure, participants in support of the cause
Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I think it's about time I share some photos that I took on Sunday, September 18, alongside Tom McCall Waterfront Park on Naito Parkway. There were all sorts of races, timed, not timed, running, walking, different distances. Huge, huge crowd--more than 35,000 participants.
All sorts of pink everywhere, from head to toe, flying and fluttering sometimes.

great shots, I hate being passed by strollers. I love seeing all of the people on the sides cheering them on.
Nice shots of all of the action! I just love all that pink.
These are fun, Lynette. I like charity races. They are always so colorful. Hartford had its marathon this past weekend but I was out of town and missed it. That is a more serious race but is still worth photographing.
These are great!
