P.S. Thanks to everyone for your wishes that Mama gets better soon. She is a bit better and has been able to sit up--well, sit in her opened-out recliner--for two hours watching "The Net" on On Demand, after eating some oatmeal and an English muffin; now she's taken her last Dramamine of the day and gone to bed, Duncan curled up at her back. She's still unable to walk or stand without help--very little control over her sense of balance. Most of today, she's been on the couch, dozing. She did manage a long while with her crossword puzzle magazine as she lay there, which is certainly a hopeful sign.
