Worker working, seen on my morning walk, Monday, June 20, downtown Portland
On my morning walk between the two buses that I take to get to work, I noticed for the first time a City of Portland employee watering plants along the sidewalk. Yea!

I am retired... so I love watching people work. :)
It does get done, but we so rarely see these workers doing the job.
I have been downtown at night and all the plants get watered plenty by bar patrons. Sorry mom I could not resist the temptation. I love you!
These are the people who work unseen in the background. Applauds for them all!
