Vintage Chevrolet 3200 pickup truck, seen on the street in Portland, Oregon. Decay has set in, rust and dents. Yet, this vehicle remains as beautiful and useful.
Back to the Mother's Day Mini-Vacation tomorrow.
And not past the point of no return!
ReplyDeleteAmazing it is still running - the hubcaps are quite shiny.
ReplyDeleteWell perhaps gross :-) but so cool to photograph!
ReplyDeleteThat truck is in need of some tender loving care...a great restoration project for what looks like a classic truck to me :).
ReplyDeleteNostalgia adds beauty - great theme day shots.
ReplyDeleteAnd it keeps on working!
ReplyDeleteUne décrépitude belle et mélancolique à la fois... et de beaux bleus !
ReplyDeleteHA, I have an old blue that lives in my neighborhood. It hasn't moved in years.

Nothing beats a Chevy, except maybe a photo of one!
ReplyDeletegreat photo for theme day.
ReplyDeleteA little rubbing compound and paint would go a long way here . . .
ReplyDeleteHaha, I like that it's a good kind of gross:) Wonderful vintage truck and still going strong it seems!
ReplyDeleteGotta love an old pick up truck! Provenance!
ReplyDeleteIndeed! Lovely find and capture!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice for theme day. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love to find old trucks and this one is a charmer! The blue has aged well. I once found a pre-1930s Dodge truck abandoned on a mountain trail in North Carolina... beautiful decay in your Chevy.
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie
Excellent choice for theme day... I like the close ups especially!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it may be someone's weekend project. The hubcaps are a giveaway! There are lots of gents on the Olympic Peninsula who would be overjoyed to get their hands on an old beauty like this.
ReplyDeleteeverything is fading on this truck except for the shiny brand! cool :)
ReplyDeleteand to be parked next to the mercedez, it can hold it own!
I like the way the blue of the trick is picked up all around the photo. The truck is a beauty!

ReplyDeleteI like it, but probably the details are better than the overall picture...
ReplyDeleteNice montage and what a great looking old truck.
ReplyDeleteUsed everyday I imagine. Takes a licking and keeps on ticking. MB
ReplyDeleteYes, it is a lovely chevrolet pick up.
ReplyDeleteI love the vintage cars, trucks, ...
Wow, this is very cool. I love this car:-)
ReplyDeleteI like how the rust and blue is picked up in the building! They just don't make them like they used to. I wonder if it has air conditioning though.
ReplyDeleteStill doing the job it was made for.
ReplyDeleteNice mosaic of an old pick up. And the "Gross" was very funny ;)
