"What's up with those flags?" I asked Leland as we pulled to a stop.
"It's a new stop sign, Mom," he explained. "They put the flags on it to make sure people see it."
"Great idea!" I exclaimed.

We humans have to be conditioned you know. We don't always grasp things right away. Good idea.
ReplyDeleteThey still miss them here. We had some put up a block away, it took forever for people to notice the sign even with flags.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you took a picture of the back of the sign; otherwise, I would've thought someone just hung up those flags. Now I know there is a place for them. To really make sure everyone stops at these signs is a cop sitting at the corner.
