Seen on the streets of Portland, No. 3
She walks and talks, heading north on NW 13th Avenue, towards NW Couch Street. Many of the streets of Portland slant, as you've seen in Monday and Tuesday's posts--this one slants slightly, others slant steeply.
I like her shadow on that part of the elevator door, down near the sidewalk.
I took this photo around 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, after my fruitless pecan pie search in Whole Foods. I made my way south to Burnside and caught a TriMet 20 home.

Wish I was her - I want to visit Portland. We have a vacation planned for summer of 2010. I love the Pacific Northwest.
I like everything about this photo--light and texture and movement. All just great. By the way, I am no longer in Fort Lauderdale. I am in the Keys in Islamorada, so visit my new site when you have a moment. It is wonderful here!
This is a nice photo and says a lot from the elevator which I never noticed until I read the no parking sign to the girl walking with head stuck on phone. The color is interesting too.
That lone walker is spot on with and the shadow is terrific.
What kind of elevator is that? It looks different.
