Happy Holidays!

From our heart to yours, best wishes for the entire holiday season from Mama, Duncan, Lamont, Leland, Kailey and me.

Christmas smiles for you, from snowy Portland, Oregon, along one block on NW Everett.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I took all of these photos before sunrise on Dec. 23, 2008, some with the flash, some without it.

I wasn't sure whether to include this one or not, but it was on the last vehicle, so I just couldn't leave it out.

Nor could I leave out the snow angel's ghost, on the steps of a house where no one lives on NW Everett. Poignant.

  13. That's just crazy! I can't believe how much snow and ice we got. This has been the most we've had since we've lived in Oregon.

  17. Those are great pictures - that last one is amazing!

Over here if we get snow the "snow grafitti" isn't usually as wholesome as these! lol

  19. Thanks to every one of you for your visits and comments. I'm a happy blogger!

Jackie, I have to be honest and tell you that I didn't photograph the two erect you-know-whats on one vehicle! In fact, since they were right outside my FRONT DOOR where I would see them EVERY DAY until it warmed up around here, I rubbed them off the windows--I couldn't stop myself!

Yes, Jim, the funnybones were out!

  20. I only get to pick 1?

Rose Bowl? ICK. I dont like USC or Penn St. Any game with a Big 12team is the one to watch for different reasons. I am looking forward to Texas vs. Ohio State in the Fiesta, rooting for Texas and the National Championship Game Florida vs. Oklahoma, rooting for Florida, so OK can be exposed as pretenders.

I also will be watching Alabama vs, Utah, but only because there is a guy that plays for Utah from Terrell and they are big underdogs.
