First these two men walked towards me, each with a cat perched on his shoulder, the cat's front paws resting on the upturned palm of each man's left hand. I decided to take the photo of them walking away because I couldn't bear to interrupt the parade by asking permission to show them online. They're walking in front of the Hotel Paramount on SW Taylor at SW Park.
Look at the piercing expression on the cat on the right!
ReplyDeleteYou've sure got a lot of parking rules in Portland Lynette. Guests, Government, Gee Whiz!
ReplyDeleteBoy, my cat would not be up there. He would first dig all claws into my flesh then bolt away.
ReplyDeleteToo fun! I love kitties... Can't believe they were perched that way on the mens shoulders. I don't think my cats would have been that cooperative.
ReplyDeleteYes, we see them from time to time.
ReplyDeleteThey just fit in to our city.
KPW =)
Cheers and hope to see you @ some of our upcoming events.
Ciao
I've seen these kinds of exotic cats before. They're a little other worldly, like someone brought an anime cat to life. I'm sure they were just beautiful.
ReplyDeletei'm agree with jim - claws/flesh no thanks!
ReplyDelete"Louis" will take a pass on the kitties in no small part because of the claws/flesh equation. (Or in "Louis's" case, claws/hide equation.) Anyway, what's up with these prevaricating signs in Portland? "Louis" is going to have to look into that issue in the Bay Area. There's probably plenty of prevaricating signs here, too....
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable! And I like how the men color-coordinated their vests with their cats. Now that's kitty love! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe brown and black striped cat is just handsome! Look at that shiny, silky coat!
interesting.
ReplyDeleteI can honestly say that I’ve never seen this before.
ReplyDeleteYawp. That kitty the right ... he's on to you.
