The Portland Streetcar stops just across the street from Jameson Square in the Pearl District, Portland's trendiest neighborhood. The square boasts four totem sculptures designed by Kenny Scharf, play structures, and a fountain. The square is a magnet for Pearl District residents and visitors, especially those with children. The park’s main feature is its kid-friendly fountain, whose water tumbles out of a stack of rocks in a series of mini-waterfalls. The water cascades into a large pond that – designed to mirror the ebb and flow of the ocean tide – periodically drains and then refills.

How wonderful to have a fountain where you can actually play! And those waterfalls and the ebb and flow sound so much fun.

Nice pictures, I live quite close to Jamison Square and enjoy watching the people enjoying the fountain..(while drinking my coffee :) I have never seen people back home (I am from Vienna, Austria) doing anything like this :) Take care, Jasmin

These shots remind me that I want to take pictures of a similar park that is actually a city pool here in Cincinnati. Fantastic fun.
I wish that we had one of these here in Hobart (at least in the summer!)
What a beautiful way to spend our afternoon with our children that's perfect because we can talk with all women going there and children can get fun.
