Y'all remember ABC Wednesday - O is for Oops, etc.? Here's that same TriMet sign, altered. How quirky is this? Someone has added an open-mouthed alligator, waiting patiently for the falling cyclist. George Townboy, have you been in Portland and not let me know, bringing some of those gators you've been photographing in Florida?
If you're of a mind to, please go to

That sign made my day.
ReplyDeleteLove your sign and the other photos, too! I thought the alligator was really there...imported from Florida??
ReplyDeleteThe alligator is so so funny!
ReplyDeleteThe sign is mindboggling!
ReplyDeleteThe whole photo from yesterday is a much better composition then your intended crop.
The presence of the second figure walking into the shot focuses the other two elements, whereas in the crop without him the stripy guy is moving out of the picture.
Very funny.
ReplyDeleteWho would have thought there is humour at city council :O
Love it, that will teach those pesky bike riders.
ReplyDeleteThat top sign is hilarious! Love how you captured the walking guy!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoy ABC Wednesday....check out Skywatch Friday tomorrow! Another great one!
ReplyDeleteDidn't I just read that Portland was the best city for bicyclists in the U.S.? I mean, I know my city's distinction as one of the worst hasn't stopped me from commuting by bike, but alligator attacks might send me back to my car. Sweet.
ReplyDeleteThat top sign is very funny!
ReplyDeleteGreat "Q" post. I did not even post a "Q" Just was not feeling well yesterday.
ReplyDeleteso i wonder if it's safe to walk along the edge, or if it's only bicycling that's dangerous... i think i wouldn't ride a bike.. and YEAH ME!! for guessing right yesterday =)
ReplyDeleteAhhh, that's funny!!! I always wanted to be a graffiti artist!! LOL
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss you on ABC Wednesday? I pride myself on making it to everyone.....! Can you hardly wait until "Q" comes up again? I am running out of ideas!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this sight. I get homesick when I see it. I lived in Portland for 18 years and miss it greatly. I do enjoy seeing what you post everyday.
