Happy Thanksgiving to one and all
For your enjoyment, the window at Knit-Purl on the corner of SW 10th and SW Alder.
I took a picture of what I suspect is some of the same felted Thanksgiving food in 2008. When you click on the link, you'll see not only the earlier photo of the felted food but also the turkey pot pies that Lamont had made that Thanksgiving, plus our loved ones who enjoyed being together, thankful for each other. Two are no longer with us--Brody's dad Gary and our darling dachshund Duncan. Oops, I just noticed that I spelled Brody's name wrong back then--sorry, Brody.

Wonderfully strange. Happy Thanksgiving to you!
Well, at least it's unique (or was unique in 2008!)...hope you are having a great turkey day, or have "felt" that way! :-)
Fabulous window display and very artistic. I felt like I was in fairyland.
I can't decide if it looks like an explosion or a heavenly visitation.
Along the lines of the latter, as a fellow writer, I'll pass along a nice compliment from Sherman Alexie: "There’s something special too about being from the Pacific Northwest, which is by far the most literate region of the country and one of the most literate regions of the world. The Seattle to Portland corridor is powered by books…I love being here in Portland. It feels like I’m directly connected to a really powerful literary culture.”
Thanks, everyone, for letting me know you've enjoyed the photo I took of Knit-Purl's store window.
WOW! What a cool decoration! Great!
