I'm more and more amazed at the financial pressures put on teens these days. The expectations are incredible, especially when trying to fit in and keep up with peers. Great post!
I saw a parent taking photos of her child and date on prom night recently. I was very pleased to hear the parent, instead of asking the kids to say cheese, she asked them to say "wait until you are married".
My prom was not this fancy! It was in the gym and I made my dress....but man did I have fun! I have never been in a limo for a dance...even my wedding we had our best man drive us in his Lincoln....does that count?

I don't know about the prom souvenirs, but I love going to that Greek restaurant... Try the lamb with their special sauce, and the saganaki, yummy!!
